Two Kavre youths returning from Dubai and India suspected to be having coronavirus infection.

Two youths have been suspected of having a coronavirus infection in a Rapid test conducted at various local levels in Kavre. A local-led trial has identified that the two youths might be infected.

A youth from Mandanpur Municipality ward number 3 of Kavre has been suspected of infection. The 23-year-old returned to Dubai from the United Arab Emirates on March 3.

The test was found positive constructed by Mandanpur Municipality after the man completed his self-quarantine at his home. An officer of the municipality told the said man was brought under surveillance after being found positive.

Another youth suspected of a similar infection has returned home from India on March 3. The 28-year-old is a resident of Wedhanchowk Rural Municipality of Kavre. After his return from India, he has been living in the quarantine built by the Rural Municipality.

A sample of both’s throat swabs of the coronavirus infection found in Kavre has been sent to the National Public Health Laboratory today for final testing.
