The cabinet meeting has decided to lockdown across the country by Baisakh 15.
A cabinet meeting held at the Prime Minister’s residence, Baluwatar, on Tuesday afternoon decided to add 12 days to the lockdown, a minister said.
Earlier, the government had shut down for a week on Chaitra11. Later, the period was extended from Chaitra 25 to Baisakh 3.
Before the lockdown, there were only three in Corona infected in Nepal, one of them had returned home after treatment.
At present, the number of Corona infected has reached 16.
