Kunjana Ghimire popularly known by his serial name ‘Suntali’ is one of the successful Nepalese actor, comedian and social worker. She was born in Chapagaun, Lalitpur on June 15, 1989. As of 2021, she is 31 years old along with 5 feet 4-inch-tall height. Currently, she lives in Kathmandu with his husband and daughter.
Kunjana completed her early life and schooling at her home town Chapagaun, Lalitpur. She used to help her father in his field during her schooling. Since childhood, she used to perform dancing and her dances were well appreciated by so many people. So, she ran away from the field hoping to be a good actor, dancer, and comedian.
In 2006, Kunjana started to play the role of Suntali, a love interest and later the wife of Dhurmus in the Nepali television program ‘Meri Bassai’. Her acting career got popularly highlighted as her role, acting and the television program is highly acclaimed among the Nepali Citizens. She is considered one of the Nepal’s talented actor and good comedian ever because she had played various roles in her own sitcom Meri Bassai.
In 2009, Kunjana Ghimire married Sitaram Kattel who is popularly known as Dhurmus. This couple has one daughter whose name is Donisha Kattel and she is just five years old.

Kunjana Ghimire is highly active in social work. She is a founding member of the Dhurmus Suntali Foundation, along with her husband Sitaram Kattel. The foundation recently completed the “Sindhupalchowk Giranchour Integrated Model Colony Construction Project”. The formal handing ceremony was held on 28 October 2016 in the presence of President Vidhya Devi Bhandari, parents of Sitaram and Kunjana Madan Krishna Shrestha and Hari Bansha Acharya. The construction project has built a colony of 67 houses with dedicated areas for children’s parks, public taps, public toilets, parking areas, and health posts. The colony is dedicated to the victims of the April 2015 Nepal earthquake.
Besides this Foundation, she is involved in running a campaign for cleaning the Bagmati River of Kathmandu, one of the holy rivers of Nepal that flows beside Pashupatinath Temple. She is one of the cleanliness ambassadors of the Nepal Government.
Kunjana Ghimire has put brakes on her successful career as an actress to devote time to social work. Recently, She founded the charity with her husband Sitaram Kattel through Dhurmus Suntali Foundation and working in the ongoing project of the Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium located in Bharatpur, Chitwan.
